Do I Need To Quarantine?
Maricopa County Public Health has posted updated quarantine guidance for people who have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and have a known exposure to a person who is COVID-positive. In most cases, if exposed to someone with COVID-19, vaccinated people do not have to quarantine if they meet all of the following criteria:
- it has been at least 2 weeks since their final dose, and
- they are within 3 months of receiving their final dose, and
- they have had no symptoms since their COVID-19 exposure.
This does not change isolation guidance (which is when people have tested positive, so they can prevent exposing others) or quarantine guidance for people who were exposed and do not meet all of the above criteria.
