Vaccination Sites: A Growing List
There are now more than 100 sites where you can get a COVID-19 vaccine in Maricopa County. These include large, public vaccination sites such as Maricopa County PODs and the stadium sites run by ADHS. They also include smaller events run by Maricopa County that are popping up in neighborhoods across the region, based on demand. And there are now dozens of pharmacies offering vaccine to adults 65 and older. Making the vaccine more widely accessible has always been—and will continue to be—a goal of Maricopa County Public Health.
While there are more locations, Arizona is still dealing with a limited supply of vaccine, which means a limited number of appointments. However, as more vaccine becomes available, having a large number of sites will make it easier and more convenient for people to get vaccinated.

Winter Weather And Vaccine Shipments
You may have read the news today about winter weather across the country delaying vaccine shipments to Arizona. This is true, according to Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS). However, we want to assure people who have appointments at Maricopa County vaccination sites that we have enough vaccine to honor current appointments. We have not cancelled appointments. If you have a confirmed appointment at a Maricopa County POD this week, we have vaccine for you! We are working closely with ADHS on this issue and will provide additional updates as we get them.

Second Dose Appointments For Pfizer
If you are in need of a 2nd dose of Pfizer vaccine and are among eligible groups (healthcare workers, staff of school or childcare facilities, law enforcement, and people age 65+), appointments at our Goodyear, Chandler/Gilbert, and GCU sites, may be available. You do not need an invite to access scheduling. If you meet eligibility criteria, once you log into podvaccine.azdhs.gov, you will be able to see available appointment times. Your second dose appointment must be AT LEAST 21 days after your first dose of Pfizer vaccine.
