Maricopa County Travel Reduction Program (TRP) Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Variance Expiration Reminder
Maricopa County, Arizona sent this bulletin at 09/21/2020 10:53 AM MST
Transportation Coordinators,
As you recall, the Maricopa County Travel Reduction Program (TRP) Regional Task Force (Task Force) granted a program variance to all employers from March 20 through September 30, 2020. As the variance expiration is quickly approaching, the MCAQD TRP staff would like to remind you of the following:
- By October 1, 2020, in order to maintain timely compliance with program requirements and avoid enforcement action, employers should send to TRP staff all site/phone audit requested documentation and TRP plans. This includes, but is not limited to, travel reduction plans, requests for documentation (RFD), and Task Force and Maricopa County Attorney’s Office directives.
- For those employers with a May through October survey start date: your organization will now be surveying throughout the month of October 2020. This will not change your existing survey month. For example, if you were scheduled to survey May 1, 2020, you will conduct your survey beginning October 8, 2020. Your next survey date will be May 1, 2021. Please respond to the employer count report request with the number of employees and include those who are telecommuting within Maricopa County.
- To minimize possible COVID exposure, TRP will be administering the survey electronically for all employers, including those employers who previously utilized the paper survey process. If you need to request special accommodations, please contact the TRP staff at TRP@maricopa.gov.
- Starting October 1, 2020, all program elements must be resumed as previously planned, including implementing TRP plan measures.
If you have any questions, please contact a TRP staff representative at TRP@maricopa.gov.
Thank you,
TRP Staff
