District 2 COVID-19 Update

COVID-19

Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected

On March 30th Governor Ducey issued a Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected Executive Order. The state is asking fellow Arizonans to help in the continued effort to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic by promoting increased physical distancing, while encouraging social connectedness among citizens. In addition, Arizonans have access to resources that can help support families and business during the COVID-19 outbreak by going to the Arizona Together website.

HUMAN SERVICES

Health experts agree, one of the best ways to stop the spread of COVID-19 is to wash your hands often for at least 20 seconds each time. In order to serve those experiencing homelessness and those who may interact with them, the Maricopa County Human Services Department rented and delivered a hand washing station to the streets outside of the Human Services Campus in downtown Phoenix.

As always, please let me know if I can be of assistance.

Thank you.
