Coronavirus Information and Updates

Supervisor Clint Hickman

Dear Friends,

I understand that the Novel Coronavirus, now known as COVID-19, is causing a lot of anxiety in our community and around the world. Maricopa County Public Health has been responding to this new disease since hearing about the first case on January 26.  Working with the Centers for Disease Control and Arizona Department of Health Services, Public Health is a trusted source of information for our community. I will be sharing updates on the virus as they become available.

March 5, 2020 - Update

There has been no community spread of COVID-19 in Maricopa County. There is currently 1 presumptive positive case (see more here) and 1 recovered case in Maricopa County (see this update).
