Voters have until 7 p.m. to cast their ballot
PHOENIX - Tuesday is Election Day and Maricopa County voters have until 7 p.m. to turn in their completed ballot along with the signed green affidavit envelope.
It’s too late to mail back a ballot, and voters must drop it off in person at any of the 30 Ballot Replacement Centers open on Tuesday from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. across the county. Voters may also vote in person at one of these locations if they have damaged or lost their ballot as long as they are in line by 7p.m.. Nearly 75 percent of Maricopa County voters are eligible to vote in this jurisdictional election, with 29 school districts, cities and special districts participating. As an all-mail election, the Maricopa County Elections Department mailed out nearly 1.85 million ballots. As of Monday afternoon, voters returned over 450,000 ballots. The Elections Department will post results at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
Voters can track their ballot by texting "Join" to 628-683 or visiting TextSignUp.Maricopa.Vote. The text message service will notify voters when their ballot is mailed, received, verified and sent to be counted.
Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, 2019.
