Election Day Event Schedule for Maricopa County Recorder
PHOENIX - The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office is holding several voter outreach and education events Election Day, November 5, 2019. Nearly 75 percent of Maricopa County voters are eligible to vote in this election with 29 jurisdictions participating, including school districts, cities and special districts.
Tuesday, Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes will give three public updates regarding the November 5 Election via Facebook Live. The first will start approximately 6:15a.m. to announce Ballot Replacement Centers open and encourage voters to drop off their ballot before work. Around 11:30a.m., Recorder Fontes will provide an Election Day update from an area school, where students are holding a mock election to learn the importance of good voting habits. Election Day social media outreach will conclude with a Facebook Live at 2p.m. to show live ballot tabulation from Maricopa County’s Ballot Tabulation Center.
