Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Appoint Jack Sellers as District 1 Supervisor

District 1 Supervisor, Jack Sellers

February 2019

Appointed as District 1 Board of Supervisors

Supervisor Jack Sellers

On Februrary 13, I had the honor and privilege of being appointed to serve District 1 on the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.  I have big shoes to fill, replacing Denny Barney, who is continuing to serve our community as CEO of the East Valley Partnership.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to meet and talk with many of you in my various roles serving Arizona and the Greater Phoenix region.  Most recently, I’ve been Chairman of the State Transportation Board.  I also served on the Chandler City Council, Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG), the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, and the East Valley Partnership.

Serving on the Board of Supervisors will allow me to make a difference on the issues I care about, especially the future of transportation in the nation’s fastest-growing county.  I look forward to serving the good people of District 1 and all of Maricopa County.
