Early Voting for the 2018 General Election Starts Today in Maricopa County

PHOENIX—Starting October 10, Maricopa County voters have several options for early voting in the 2018 General Election.

The Elections Department is now mailing ballots to voters on the Permanent Early Voting List, and to voters who have already requested early ballots online. Ballots typically arrive within two to six days. Voters on the Permanent Early Voting List who do not receive their ballots by October 17 should call (602) 506-1511.

"Early voting is preferred by the majority of Maricopa County voters, and it's never been more accessible. It gives voters the chance to research the candidates and propositions, and allows them to cast their ballot on their time," Maricopa County Recorder Adrian Fontes said.

Additionally, Vote Centers are open for ballot drop offs and early in-person voting. Any registered voter in Maricopa County can cast a ballot at any Vote Center. A list of locations and hours of operation can be found at www.Locations.Maricopa.Vote.

To request an early ballot, go to www.Request.Maricopa.Vote on or before the October 26 deadline. Voters should mail ballots back by October 31, to ensure the Elections Department receives it by the November 6 election. For more information on early voting, visit www.Maricopa.Vote.

La Votación Temprana para la Elección General de 2018 Comienza Hoy en el Condado de Maricopa

PHOENIX—A partir del 10 de octubre, los votantes del Condado de Maricopa tienen varias opciones para votar temprano en la Elección General de 2018.

El Departamento de Elecciones está ahora enviando las boletas a los votantes en la Lista Permanente de Votación Temprana, y a los votantes que ya han solicitado en línea las boletas tempranas. Las boletas suelen llegar dentro de dos a seis dias. Los votantes en la Lista Permanente de Votación Temprana que no reciban sus boletas para el 17 de octubre deben llamar al (602) 506-1511.

"La mayoría de los votantes del Condado de Maricopa prefieren la votación temprana, y nunca había sido más accesible. Da a los votantes la oportunidad de investigar a los candidatos y a las propuestas, y les permite emitir su voto en su tiempo", dijo el Registrador del Condado de Maricopa, Adrian Fontes.

 

Además, los Centros de Votación están abiertos para la entrega de boletas y la votación temprana en persona. Cualquier votante registrado en el Condado de Maricopa puede emitir su voto en cualquier Centro de Votación. Una lista de ubicaciones  está disponible en www.Ubicaciones.Maricopa.Voto.

 

Para solicitar una boleta temprana, visite www.Solicitud.Maricopa.Voto antes o el 26 de octubre que es la fecha límite. Los votantes deben devolver su boleta por correo para el 31 de octubre, y así asegurarse de que el Departamento de Elecciones las reciba para el 6 de noviembre de 2018.
