Maricopa County Recorder certifies Save our Schools Arizona petition signatures

The Maricopa County Recorder's Office certified petition signatures today for referendum R-02-2018 sent by the Secretary of State on August 18.

Of the 3,931 randomly selected signatures, 3,403 were found to be qualified. 528 were disqualified, making a 86.6 percent success rate. 

Signatures were checked three times by trained staff and disqualified pursuant to A.R.S. 19-121.02 (A).

Citizen groups interested in verifying signatures can do so for the next five days (including Saturday and Sunday) at the MCTEC Elections Facility at 510 S. 3rd Ave, Phoenix, 85003. Terminals will be assigned first come, first serve. Please send an email to voterinfo@risc.maricopa.gov to schedule a terminal.
