Maps & Data TrainingMAG offers free 3-hour hybrid workshops throughout the year. Participants receive hands-on practice in such tasks as navigating our data tools and map viewers, choosing a base map and selecting layers, customizing map data ranges and color schemes, selecting and exporting standard reports, creating and exporting custom reports, performing complex data queries, and more. Go to our training page to select a date and attend either in person or virtually. The next workshop is Thursday, February 22, 2024. |
MAG Population EstimatesThe MAG Regional Council has adopted the July 1, 2023, population estimates for jurisdictions in the MAG region. These population estimates are created in conjunction with the State Demographer, and are updated every year. The estimates and methodology can be found here. |
Employer Data UpdatesOur data tools have been updated with the latest 2022 data from the Arizona COG/MPO Employer Database. The Business, Jobs, and Industry Explorer is an interactive dashboard that provides an overview of employers, jobs, and business locations, as well as data by industry clusters, key industries, and foreign-owned businesses. The Business, Jobs, and Industry Highlights are a series of infographic PDF reports with key highlights in employer data by county or MPO/COG. |
BikewaysMAG, in coordination with its member agencies, maintains a regional dataset of locally designated bicycle facilities. The MAG Bikeways viewer, updated annually, is the interactive version of the dataset and also includes bicycle shops, bus and light rail stops, regional bike routes, and photo points highlighting bicycle infrastructure throughout the region. An updated printed Bikeways map is scheduled for spring 2025. |
