Recreation ViewerThe Regional Recreation map viewer has been updated, not only with the latest data, but with a brand-new look and feel. Use it to discover recreation opportunities in your neighborhood and throughout the region. Easily filter public parks across multiple municipalities to locate kid-friendly recreation, specific sports amenities, and special use areas. Explore the region’s many trails, preserves, and water recreation opportunities that can be enjoyed in the great outdoors. Regional attractions are also highlighted. Bike lanes and public transportation are included to help get you around. Check it out today! |
Housing Data ExplorerThe Housing Data Explorer is a new interactive dashboard that visualizes data and trends related to housing affordability for the region. It currently includes data on median sales price, median rent, evictions, cost-burdened households, and distressed properties (foreclosures) for select geographies. This is a beta version that is still under development, with more data and features to be added in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out for updates. |
Population EstimatesThe MAG Regional Council has adopted the July 1, 2021, population estimates for jurisdictions in the MAG region. These population estimates are created in conjunction with the State Demographer, and are updated every year. The estimates and methodology can be found here. |
ACS UpdateThe U.S. Census Bureau has delayed the release of the 2016-2020 American Community Survey (ACS). In a normal year, the five-year ACS is released in December. Due to a number of factors, the Census Bureau has announced they will release the new ACS in March 2022. When it is released, MAG will incorporate the new data into our Arizona Demographics viewer. |
