Bikeways ViewerBike riding has soared in popularity during the pandemic. Whether you are new to the activity or a seasoned cyclist looking for new places to ride, MAG has you covered. The printed version of MAG Bikeways shows locally-designated bicycle facilities throughout the region. The map is free, updated every couple of years, and also includes cycling safety tips. It can be obtained directly from MAG and is distributed to local bike shops. You can download the PDF version here. The online, interactive version of the map, MAG Bikeways, is updated regularly and remains our most popular viewer. |
SafeGraph Weekly VisitsMAG has partnered with SafeGraph to create a new online tool that tracks consumer visits to Arizona businesses. The dashboard shows the relative change in visits both statewide and regionally using two metrics: when compared to the same time a year earlier and when compared to the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic around the first week of March this year. Hotels, motels, and restaurants have seen a significant decrease in visits since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, while grocery stores, gas stations and home improvement outlets have fared better. In more recent weeks, visits to businesses have been rising and recovering across all industries. |

Unemployment Claims MapsIn partnership with the Arizona Department of Economic Security, MAG is mapping by ZIP Code the number of Arizona initial unemployment insurance claims and continuing claims filed since the start of stay-at-home orders in Arizona on March 14, 2020. This data can be used by employers and policymakers to understand where there are large populations of residents looking for work, as they shape plans of action to breathe new life into their local economies as we start to recover from the effects of the pandemic. Access the unemployment claims maps here. |
