Statewide Demographic Viewer Update

The MAG Interactive Demographic Viewer has a whole new look! All your favorite U.S. Census Bureau data for the entire State of Arizona is still available in the same place (https://geo.azmag.gov/maps/azdemographics/) but with a fresh new look, snappier response time, and better performance on mobile devices. If you haven’t used our Demographic Viewer in a while, check it out. Great new look, same great data!

Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)

Foreign direct investment (FDI) in the Phoenix metro area contributes to economic growth through jobs and investment in the region. There are approximately 1,200 international companies, from 53 different countries, that have a presence in the Phoenix metro area. Together these companies employ over 88,000 area residents.

Through its on-going data collection and analysis efforts, MAG has developed a variety of infographics that highlight FDI in the region. Visit our website to learn more about the effects of FDI on our region.

Bikeways Map Update

MAG, in coordination with its member agencies, publishes a map of designated bicycle facilities in the region every three to five years. The current edition, hot off the presses, is the 2019 MAG Bikeways Map. This printed map is free and also includes cycling safety tips. It can be obtained from MAG and is distributed to local bike shops. You can download the PDF version here. The online, interactive version of the map, MAG Bikeways, is kept up to date and was recently redesigned for a better user experience.
