The Arizona Department of Transportation will continue the closure of the southbound lanes of the State Route 89A spur between SR 89A and the intersection of Robert Road until the end of August as crews perform guardrail work.
Motorists southbound on SR 89A who wish to access Robert Road will be rerouted to Viewpoint Drive where they can turn around and travel eastbound on SR 89A and then travel southbound on Robert Road. The construction detour will be clearly marked by temporary barricades and signage. ADOT advises drivers to allow additional time to reach their destinations.
ADOT advises drivers to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
