Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) Update

Two Bridge Construction Projects = Two Traffic Impacts in Southeast Valley This Weekend
Closures planned at Chandler Boulevard and I-10 in Chandler and at Price Road/Loop 101 (Price Freeway) and Loop 202 (Santan Freeway)

Two new superstructures taking shape in the southeast Valley will link HOV lanes on Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) with Loop 101 (Price Freeway) and Interstate 10 in Chandler. To reach that milestone, area motorists will need to use detour routes around complex construction zones at the I-10/Chandler Boulevard interchange and at the intersection of Loop 202, Loop 101 and Price Road. Upcoming restrictions include:

- Westbound I-10 Chandler Boulevard off-ramp closed from 10 p.m. Friday to noon Saturday (July 23). Use the Ray Road exit.

- Ramp from eastbound Loop 202 to northbound Loop 101 closed from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Sunday (July 24). Use McClintock Drive to Chandler Village Drive to Frye Road.

- Northbound Price Road closed at Loop 202, and no access to westbound Loop 202, from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday (July 23) and from 9 p.m. Saturday to 10 a.m. Sunday (July 24); southbound Price Road closed between Frye Road and Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Sunday (July 24)

- Additional restrictions will impact the westbound Loop 202 Price Road on- and off-ramps, requiring motorists to use Frye or Dobson roads as alternates.
