I-10 Update

Westbound I-10 on-ramp and off-ramp at Florence Boulevard in Casa Grande closed on Monday and Tuesday nights

As part of the project to widen Interstate 10 between Val Vista and Earley Roads, the Arizona Department of Transportation will close the westbound I-10 on- and off-ramps at Florence Boulevard (exit 194) from 7 p.m. Monday (July 18) to 6 a.m. Tuesday (July 19) and again from 7 p.m. Tuesday (July 19) to 6 a.m. Wednesday (July 20).

The following detours will be available during ramp closures:

Motorists on westbound I-10 wishing to exit Florence Boulevard will be directed to exit at McCartney Road (exit 190). Drivers will be directed to turn left on McCartney Road and enter eastbound I-10 to return to the Florence Boulevard exit.

Motorists on Florence Boulevard wishing to access westbound I-10 will be directed to take eastbound I-10 to Jimmie Kerr Boulevard (exit 198), where they will be directed to exit, turn left, and re-enter westbound I-10.

What to expect during the closures:

  • I-10 eastbound and westbound lanes will remain open during the ramp closures.
  • Signage will direct motorists through the detours.
  • Detours may cause delays of up to 10 minutes.
  • Drivers should proceed through the detour with caution, slow down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.

The construction project schedule is subject to change due to a variety of reasons, including weather, material availability and mechanical difficulties.

ADOT works to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule.
