US 60 (Grand Avenue) and Thunderbird/Thompson Ranch roads Study Draft Environmental Assessment Available
Public hearing on Thursday, May 15 in El Mirage
On May 1, the Arizona Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration have released the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed intersection improvements at US 60 (Grand Avenue) and Thunderbird/Thompson Ranch roads. This release launched a 30-day public comment period that ends on May 30, 2014.
The draft environmental document can be found on the project website and at the locations below during regular business hours:

The Draft EA covers potential impacts from proposed intersection improvements, purpose and need for improvements, alternatives studied and public outreach efforts since the study was launched.
To provide input during the 30-day public comment period, attend the public hearing on May 15, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at the El Mirage Senior Center, 14010 N. El Mirage Rd., El Mirage, AZ 85335
