US 60 (Grand Avenue) and Thunderbird/Thompson Ranch roads Study Draft Environmental Assessment Now Available
Public hearing on Thursday, May 15 in El Mirage
The Arizona Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration have released the Draft Environmental Assessment (EA) for the proposed intersection improvements at US 60 (Grand Avenue) and Thunderbird/Thompson Ranch roads. This release launches a 30-day public comment period beginning May 1, 2014 and ending May 30, 2014.
The draft environmental document can be found on the p roject website at azdot.gov/Tbird and at the public locations below:

The document covers potential impacts from proposed intersection improvements, purpose and need for improvements, alternatives studied and public outreach efforts since the study was launched.
