Expect restrictions and closures along Loop 303 and I-10 in the West Valley

 

Multiple closures and restrictions will be in place for West Valley drivers over the next week, including restrictions on Interstate 10 this weekend.

 

Starting tonight, the following restrictions will be in effect:

•  Loop 303 will be closed in both directions between Bethany Home Road and Glendale Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 p.m. Saturday (August 3) for water line work. Detour: Use Cotton Lane.
• I-10 will be narrowed to one lane in both directions overnight between Sarival Avenue and Citrus Road from 10 p.m. Saturday to 9 a.m. Sunday (Aug. 4) for guardrail repair and maintenance work. Please be prepared to slow down and merge safely in work zone.
• Peoria Avenue will be closed between Loop 303 and Cotton Lane from 5 a.m. Wednesday to 3 p.m. Friday (August 9) for barrier placement and paving. Detour: Use Olive Ave.
• Northern Avenue will be closed between Loop 303 and Cotton Lane from 10 p.m. Thursday to 5 a.m. Friday (August 9) for bridge work. Detour: Use Olive Avenue.

 

Additionally, the following longer-term restrictions are still in place in Surprise:

• Bell Road at Loop 303 lanes will be restricted and northbound ramps closed beginning Wednesday, July 31 through Monday, August 12 to complete ramp and median work. The north sidewalk will be closed to pedestrians. Detour: Use Greenway Road.
• Waddell Road at Loop 303 lanes will be restricted and northbound ramps will be closed beginning July 28 through Wednesday, August 7 to complete ramp and median work. Detour: Use Greenway Road.
