Loop 303 restrictions this weekend

Cross-street closures and Loop 303 delays in place while crews switch traffic to detour 

 

PHOENIX – Crews are preparing to switch Loop 303 traffic onto the new detour between Thomas and Camelback roads, causing short restrictions along the Loop 303 and cross-street closures this weekend.

In order for crews to complete the traffic switch, drivers should be prepared for the following restrictions and closures:

  • Loop 303 will be restricted to one lane at Bethany Home Road from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday (May 10). Flaggers will guide cars through the area. Please plan for delays and use caution.
  • Bethany Home Road will be closed between Sarival Ave. and Cotton Lane from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday (May 10). Detour: Use Glendale Ave.
  • Peoria Avenue will be closed between Loop 303 and Cotton Lane from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday (May 11) for bridge work. Detour: Use Olive Avenue.
  • Loop 303 will be closed for up to 10 minutes between Thomas and Bethany Home roads starting at 6 a.m. on Saturday (May 11) to facilitate the traffic switch. Please plan for delays and use caution.
  • Loop 303 will be restricted to one lane at Glendale Ave. from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday (May 11). Flaggers will guide cars through the area. Please plan for delays and use caution.
  • Glendale Avenue will be closed between Sarival Avenue and Cotton Lane from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday (May 11). Detour: Use Bethany Home Road.
  • Indian School Road will be closed between Sarival Ave. and Cotton Lane from 6 a.m. Saturday to 5 p.m. Sunday (May 12). Detour: Use Bethany Home Road.
  • Camelback Road from Sarival Avenue to Cotton Lane will be closed starting at 5 a.m. Saturday (May 11) for approximately two months. Detour: Use Indian School or Bethany Home roads.
