UPDATED: APS work requires Loop 303 nightly closures starting Sunday

PHOENIX – Updated: Starting Sunday, Loop 303 will be closed nightly in the West Valley for a truck haul and to allow Arizona Public Service (APS) crews to complete work on utility lines in the area. Expect the following restrictions:

  • Loop 303 will be closed in both directions between Olive Avenue and Bethany Home Road nightly from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday (April 14, 16, 17) for a truck haul and APS utility work. All cross streets will remain open. Detour: Use Cotton Lane.
  • Loop 303 will be closed in both directions between Peoria Avenue and Bethany Home Road from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday (April 15). Olive Avenue will also be closed between Loop 303 and Cotton Lane on Monday night. All other cross streets will remain open. Detour: Use Cotton Lane.
  • Loop 303 will be closed in both directions between Olive and Northern avenues from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday (April 18). Olive and Northern avenues will remain open. Detour: Use Cotton Lane.

Additionally, Indian School Road will be closed nightly between Loop 303 and Cotton Lane from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. Monday-Wednesday for bridge work. DETOUR: Use Bethany Home Road.
