State Route 24 construction will require restrictions on Ray Road and Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) next week
Closures to occur overnight Wednesday and Thursday (Aug. 29 and 30) 

As construction of State Route 24 (Gateway Freeway) continues to progress, crews will need to restrict both Ray Road and Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) overnight next week. Drivers should be aware of the following restrictions:

  • Ray Road closed between Hawes and Ellsworth roads from 9 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 29) to 5 a.m. Thursday (Aug. 30) for temporary concrete barrier installation. DETOUR: Use Pecos Road or Loop 202.
  • Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) closed between Elliot and Power roads from 9 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 30) to 5 a.m. Friday (Aug. 31) for removal of overhead sign and temporary concrete barrier installation. DETOUR: Exit at Elliot Road east to Ellsworth Road south to Ray Road west to Power Road north to access westbound Loop 202.
