Eastbound I-10 closed Oct. 24-25, westbound I-10 closed Oct. 25-26

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for the following Interstate 10 closures in the East Valley for pavement marking:
- Eastbound I-10 will be CLOSED between Avondale Boulevard and 75th Avenue from 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25. The following ramps also will be closed:
- The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at Fairway Drive
- The southbound Loop 101 (Agua Fria Freeway) ramp to eastbound I-10

DETOURS: Eastbound I-10 drivers may consider exiting at Avondale Boulevard and taking McDowell Road or Van Buren Street to 75th Avenue to reconnect with I-10. Loop 101 drivers may consider exiting onto eastbound McDowell Road and using 75th Avenue to access I-10 east of the closure.
- Westbound I-10 will be CLOSED between 75th Avenue and Avondale Boulevard from 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, to 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 26. The following ramps also will be closed:
- The northbound Loop 202 (South Mountain Freeway) ramp to westbound I-10
- The westbound I-10 on-ramp at 67th Avenue
- The southbound Loop 101 ramp to westbound I-10

DETOURS: Westbound I-10 drivers may consider exiting at 75th Avenue and taking McDowell Road or Van Buren Street to Avondale Boulevard to reconnect with I-10. Loop 202 drivers may consider exiting onto westbound Van Buren Street and using Avondale Boulevard to access westbound I-10. Loop 101 drivers may consider exiting onto westbound McDowell Road and using Avondale Boulevard to access I-10 west of the closure.
ADOT advises drivers to use caution and be prepared to slow down and merge safely when approaching and traveling through all work zones.
