Your COVID-19 Vaccination Turn is Here!

Dear ADOT Team Members:

All ADOT employees should have received an email from the Arizona Department of Administration last week, with good news letting you know you can register to be vaccinated. This followed Governor Ducey’s announcement that COVID-19 vaccine eligibility is now expanded to all Arizona adults.  

If you have not yet been vaccinated or signed up to be vaccinated, here are the key steps:

  • ADOA has reserved 1,400 state employee-only spots per week at the Phoenix Municipal Stadium vaccination site. See the email to your work address last week from podvaccine-noreply@azdhs.gov - it directs you to the ADHS Vaccine Management System to create your account and complete the appointment process. You can visit the ADOA Website for more guidance. 
  • You also can check on vaccination sites all around the state by visiting the Arizona Department of Health Services website. There are many options available through state, county and pharmacy programs. 
  • Visit the ADOT COVID-19 Resource Center for more vaccination information. 

We strongly encourage you to sign up and get vaccinated at whatever site is most convenient for you. The vaccines are the best way to protect yourself, your family and your co-workers and get things back to normal.  

  • More than 2.1 million Arizonans have received at least one vaccine dose. Around the country, 150 million doses have been given.
  • Real-world studies since vaccinations started have shown them to be both effective and safe. 
  • It’s understandable that you may have concerns and questions. Here is information from the U.S. Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention on vaccination benefits, myths and facts, and other frequently asked questions.
  • The CDC has guidelines for people who are fully vaccinated - letting you know how and when you can safely visit friends and family members and even give them hugs!
