REMINDER: Major traffic switch for westbound I-10 near Ruthrauff Road scheduled Nov. 20

Overnight lane restrictions on westbound I-10 frontage road scheduled for Nov. 21

Motorists who use westbound Interstate 10 near Ruthrauff Road in Tucson should expect a major traffic switch overnight, Friday, Nov. 20. By the morning of Saturday, Nov. 21, westbound I-10 traffic will be adjacent to recently-moved eastbound traffic.

The westbound exit to westbound frontage road businesses and Sunset Road will be moved southeast of Ruthrauff Road until a new temporary ramp is constructed north of Ruthrauff Road.

The westbound I-10 frontage road will also be reduced to a single lane the night of Saturday, Nov. 21.

Eastbound I-10 will not be affected during this traffic shift. 

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
