Extended closure at Jimmie Kerr Boulevard under Interstate 10 in Casa Grande begins Monday

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for an extended closure of Jimmie Kerr Boulevard under Interstate 10 beginning early next week. The closure will be in place continuously from 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 14, through  6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21. Local travel may use an alternate route or the following detours

  • Westbound Jimmie Kerr Boulevard: Use I-10 westbound to Florence Boulevard (Exit 194)
  • Eastbound Jimmie Kerr Boulevard: Use Trekell Road to eastbound I-8 to Sunland Gin Road (Exit 200)

Work is occurring in conjunction with the project to widen I-10 between I-8 and Earley Road.
