Lane restrictions on State Route 277 between Snowflake and Heber extended to Nov. 1 as pavement repair work continues

Drivers who use State Route 277 between Snowflake and Heber should plan for continued lane restrictions and delays through Thursday, Nov. 1, for pavement preservation work.

Since the project began earlier this month, work has been delayed because to rain and other weather conditions. The maintenance project is being extended one week to provide crews the necessary time to complete the pavement repairs.

Motorists should expect delays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, along a 6-mile stretch of SR 277 west of Snowflake (mileposts 329-335).

East- and westbound traffic will continue to be reduced to one lane of alternating travel while the work is done in 1- to 2-mile segments at a time. A pilot car and flaggers are being used to direct traffic within the work zone.

Drivers should obey posted speed limits and traffic control devices, and use caution around on-site personnel and equipment in work zones.
