The Canoa Ranch Rest Area along Interstate 19 south of Tucson is closed until further notice while crews check on water system repairs, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Facilities at the Canoa Ranch Rest Area are closed on both sides of I-19. ADOT says crews will work over the weekend to determine the extent of the water system malfunction and what type of repairs will be needed.
While the rest area is closed, drivers are advised to plan on using commercial restroom facilities in Green Valley, Rio Rico, Tubac and Nogales.
