The Arizona Department of
Transportation advises Phoenix drivers to plan for the following restrictions
while APS crews place a new power pole. Work is scheduled to occur between
11:30 p.m. Saturday, July 14, and 8 a.m. Sunday, July 15.
- The ramps from east- and westbound Interstate 10
to southbound I-17 will be closed.
- I-17 will be closed in both directions
intermittently for up to 20 minutes near the I-10 Stack.
- The northbound I-17 on-ramp at Adams Street and
the southbound I-17 on-ramp at McDowell Road will be closed.
To access southbound I-17 from
westbound I-10, use southbound 19th Avenue to westbound Grant Street.
From eastbound I-10, exit at 27th Avenue and travel south to eastbound Buckeye
Road to southbound I-17.
Drivers should expect delays, use
alternate routes and use caution in the work zone.
