Work resumes on US 89, south of Page

Crews to improve roadway drainage

The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for restrictions and allow extra travel time as a roadway drainage improvement project on US 89 will require lane closures south of Page.

Work is scheduled to occur from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays on US 89 between mileposts 524 and 528, 20 miles south of Page. 

What to Expect:

• Prepare for reduced speeds through the construction zone
• Lane closures will remain in place in both directions through July
• One lane will remain open in both directions at all times
• Expect up to 15-minute delays

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
