Crews from the Arizona Department of Transportation will be conducting maintenance on freeway lights along two East Valley freeways. Drivers in the East Valley may need to use overnight alternate routes late Monday night while the following restrictions are in place:
- The westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) ramp to northbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway) will be closed from 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, for freeway lighting maintenance. Detour: Drivers should consider exiting westbound Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) to northbound McClintock Drive/Hayden Road and using eastbound McKellips Road to access northbound Loop 101 (Pima Freeway).
- The eastbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) on-ramp at McClintock Drive in Tempe will be closed from 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, for freeway lighting maintenance. The eastbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) right lane also will be closed near Loop 101 (Price Freeway). Detour: Consider using other nearby eastbound US 60 (Superstition Freeway) on-ramps, including Rural Road or Dobson Road.
