The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan
for delays next week as crews pave the new eastbound alignment and a roundabout
as part of the ongoing State Route 260 widening project, located approximately
1 mile west of the Interstate 17 junction near Cottonwood.
Paving work will take place off the current mainline. Travel
impacts will include brief, intermittent delays as construction trucks enter
and exit the roadway.
Paving is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13,
through Thursday, Nov. 16, and Monday, Nov. 20,
through Tuesday, Nov. 21. Paving work will not occur on the weekend.
Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow
down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other
unforeseen factors. For more information, please contact Mackenzie Kirby, ADOT
Community Relations Project Manager at (928) 525-6494 or mkirby@azdot.gov. For real-time highway
