Nightly restrictions coming next week on I-10 at Craycroft Road in Tucson

Motorists traveling on Interstate 10 in Tucson will encounter lane restrictions next week while the Arizona Department of Transportation continues work to replace the bridge decks at Craycroft Road.

Left lane closures will be in effect in both directions on I-10 at Craycroft Road (Exit 268) nightly from 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. beginning Monday, Feb. 13, through Friday, Feb. 17. Motorists are advised to watch for trucks entering and exiting the interstate during these restrictions.

The work is in preparation for constructing a temporary bridge in between the two existing bridges that will allow traffic to remain on I-10 while the decks are replaced.

Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow down and watch for construction personnel and equipment.
