Motorists who normally would use the westbound Interstate 10 ramp to northbound Loop 303 this weekend should plan on using a detour route and allow extra travel time. The ramp that connects those freeways will be closed as crews continue bridge work in conjunction with the I-10/Loop 303 Interchange project in Goodyear. The Arizona Department of
Transportation will have the following restrictions and closures in place:
- Westbound I-10 closed between Estrella Parkway
and Loop 303 from 10 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4 to 7 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 for
overhead sign installation. Detour: Drivers can exit at
Bullard Avenue or Estrella Parkway and use McDowell Road to re-enter
westbound I-10 at Citrus Road.
- Westbound I-10 ramp to northbound Loop 303
closed continuously from 7 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 to 5 a.m. Thursday, Nov.
10 for bridge work. Detour: Drivers can exit at Sarival
Avenue use McDowell Road to Cotton Lane to enter northbound Loop 303 at
Thomas Road.
Drivers should proceed through the work zone with caution, slow
down and watch for construction equipment and personnel.
ADOT works to inform the public about
planned highway restrictions, but it’s possible that unscheduled closures or
restrictions might occur because of weather or other factors. For the latest
