Now Open: Westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) HOV Lane Open From Gilbert Road to I-10

WESTBOUND LOOP 202 (SANTAN FREEWAY) HOV LANE OPEN FROM GILBERT ROAD TO INTERSTATE 10; DIRECT RAMPS TO LOOP 101 (PRICE FREEWAY) AND I-10 ALSO OPEN

A 12-mile section of the new westbound Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) HOV lane between Gilbert Road and Interstate 10 in Chandler is open! This stretch includes direct HOV-lane ramps between westbound Loop 202 and the northbound Loop 101 (Price Freeway) carpool lane as well as the westbound I-10 HOV lane. The remaining eastbound HOV lane on Loop 202 and direct ramps to the Loop 101 and I-10 are scheduled to open when the project is complete on Oct. 9. REMINDER: Eastbound I-10 will be CLOSED between U.S. 60 (Superstition Freeway) and Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) overnight Friday (Sept. 30) and part of Saturday (Oct. 1). Expect delays and use alternate routes. For complete details and detour routes, go to our website.
