New 2024 CDC Immunization Schedules
MMWR has published two reports summarizing 2024 updates to CDC Immunization Schedules:
As a reminder, the 2024 Immunization Schedules for Clinicians were published in November 2023.
The 2024 Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule includes new recommendations for:
- respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine,
- respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) monoclonal antibody,
- Mpox vaccine,
- 20-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine, and
- pentavalent meningococcal vaccine.
The 2024 Adult Immunization Schedule includes new recommendations for:
- respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine,
- Mpox vaccine, and
- pentavalent meningococcal vaccine.
Both schedules also include updated recommendations for the 2023-2024 formula COVID-19 vaccine, influenza vaccines, and inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV).
