COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment - NEW Appointment Location - Desert Financial Arena

Good morning,

Your appointment originally scheduled at Phoenix Municipal Stadium to receive the COVID-19 vaccination is still scheduled and has NOT been canceled. Please note that we are moving to a nearby indoor location as of Monday, April 12, 2021. Your appointment location has changed to ASU’s Desert Financial Arena, 600 E. Veterans Way, Tempe, AZ 85281. This is just east of Sun Devil Stadium.

Due to excessive temperatures during the day, to ensure patient and staff safety the outdoor vaccination site at Phoenix Municipal Stadium is being relocated to ASU’s Desert Financial Arena. If your appointment was scheduled at Phoenix Municipal Stadium on or after April 12, please arrive at your scheduled appointment time to ASU’s Desert Financial Arena and NOT Phoenix Municipal Stadium. 

The vaccination site at Phoenix Municipal Stadium will close at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 11, and will reopen at our new indoor location at Desert Financial Arena at 7 a.m. Monday, April 12. The site at ASU’s Desert Financial Arena will offer complimentary parking, and vaccinations will be provided indoors on the main concourse from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. This indoor vaccination site is walk-through only. Please be assured that your appointment is still scheduled at the same time, yet at a new location - Desert Financial Arena.

If you would like to reschedule your appointment to another state location that is offering drive-thru vaccination, please contact our Help Desk or visit podvaccine.azdhs.gov for availability. Additional appointment slots at state vaccination sites will be released on Fridays.

Desert Financial Arena is located at 600 E. Veterans Way, Tempe, AZ 85281. Please arrive for your vaccination appointment no earlier than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
