Fort Smith Police Department Recognized Eighth Consecutive Time for Achieving CALEA Accreditation

Fort Smith, AR - The Fort Smith Police Department has once again earned CALEA Law Enforcement Accreditation, marking the eighth time the agency has achieved this distinction.

Often referred to as the "Gold Standard in Public Safety," CALEA accreditation recognizes agencies that demonstrate excellence in professionalism, accountability, transparency, and service. This accreditation is valid for the next four years and reflects the department's ongoing commitment to you, our community, by meeting these nationally recognized standards.
