SHOOTING INCIDENT

400 Block of South 17th Street

Fort Smith, AR - At approximately 4:20 a.m. on Sunday August 10, the Fort Smith Police Department responded to a report of gunshots around the 400 block of South 17th St.

Upon arrival, officers located a victim with injures and was transported to the hospital. Detectives responded to the scene to take over the investigation. The investigation is ongoing and we will release more details as soon as they become available and appropriate.
