FSPD Procures Arrest Warrant for July 4 Armed Robbery Suspect

Fort Smith, AR - At approximately 11:54 PM on Friday, July 4, Fort Smith Police responded to an alleged armed robbery that had just occurred in the 1800 block of North Greenwood Avenue. Upon arrival, Officers located one male victim who stated he had been robbed by another male who'd displayed a firearm during commission of the crime.

After a thorough investigation, Detectives have identified 19-year-old Kamarion Higgins as the suspect and procured a warrant for his arrest. If you know of Higgins' whereabouts, do not attempt to approach him. Notify FSPD at 479-709-5000, or dial 911 for an emergency. To be reward eligible (up to $1,000), tips must be submitted through Fort Smith Crime Stoppers at 78-CRIME.
