FSPD Investigating Series of Vehicle Break-Ins

Fort Smith, AR - The Fort Smith Police Department is investigating a recent series of vehicle break-ins that have occurred in the last two days.

Multiple vehicles were reportedly broken into across multiple locations, primarily centered around local apartment complexes and hotels. While no specific addresses are being released at this time, investigators believe the incidents are connected and may involve the same individual.

The image below was captured at approximately 3:55 AM on June 11. Detectives are working to gather surveillance footage and additional information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the person(s) responsible.

We are asking anyone with information that can assist to please contact the Fort Smith Police Department at 479-709-5000. To be reward-eligible (up to $1,000), tips must be submitted via Fort Smith Crime Stoppers at 78-CRIME.

As a reminder, please remove valuables from your vehicle, lock your doors, and report any suspicious behavior immediately. We appreciate the public’s assistance as this investigation continues.
