ARREST MADE
JUNE 8 AGGRAVATED ROBBERY, Moriah Burrows, 25
Fort Smith, AR - On Sunday, June 8, at approximately 11:21 PM, Fort Smith Police responded to a report of an aggravated robbery near North 29th and North 6th Streets.
The victim reported being approached by a woman driving a silver Ford Flex, who displayed a firearm and demanded money. The suspect then drove the victim to another location where he obtained cash and returned to the vehicle, at which point she fled the scene with the money and his wallet.
After a thorough investigation, 25-year-old Moriah Burrows was developed as the suspect. Burrows was located and arrested Monday, June 9, at approximately 4:30 PM in the 700 block of Rogers Avenue. Burrows faces one count of aggravated robbery and, at the time, was on active parole for a previous aggravated robbery conviction. The investigation remains ongoing. More information may be released when available and appropriate.
