SHOOTING INCIDENT

North 7th and North 8th Streets

Fort Smith, AR - The Fort Smith Police Department is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the area of North 7th and North 8th Streets.

Officers responded to the scene earlier this evening and located one individual with an apparent gunshot-related injury. That individual has been transported for medical care. At this time, there is no indication of any ongoing threat to the public.
