MURDER SUSPECT IN CUSTODY

Ruach, 45, arrested

Fort Smith, AR - On April 10 at approximately 3:05 PM, a task force consisting of Fort Smith Police, the United States Marshals Service, Arkansas State Police, and Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office, converged on a location in the 1200 block of North 38th Street. The murder suspect, Nephesh Ruach, was hiding in a residence in this area. As law enforcement entered the home, Ruach attempted to flee the residence on foot and was quickly captured without further incident. The Fort Smith Police Department would like to express its gratitude to all the Officers, Detectives, Troopers, Marshals, and Deputies, who assisted in ensuring a safe conclusion to this operation. Furthermore, we are grateful to all of the agencies for their coordination and assistance.
