SHOOTING INCIDENT, ARREST MADE

Zachary Bryant, 22, in custody

Fort Smith, AR - On Sunday, Sept. 8, at approximately 2:08 PM, Fort Smith Police responded to a shooting call at 5111 Rogers Avenue. Upon arrival, it was discovered that a firearm was discharged in the parking garage portion of Central Mall.

No one was injured in the altercation, and all parties were quickly identified. The shooter, 22-year-old Zachary Bryant of Alma, has been placed under arrest in Crawford County. The investigation is ongoing, and more information may be released when available and appropriate.
