For Immediate Release: June 29, 2012 More Information Contact: Margaret Tyler, 907-266-2694 margaret.tyler@alaska.gov Anchorage Airport Offers On-Demand Shuttle Service from North (International) Terminal (Anchorage, AK) – Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is changing the route of its airport shuttle bus service at the North (International) Terminal. It will now be available via a dedicated telephone for airport shuttle service. The line has been installed inside the North Terminal at the South East exit door, near the shuttle bus stop. Passengers wishing to be picked up at the North Terminal call for service from the dedicated line and the next available airport shuttle bus will include the North Terminal in their pick-up route. Until now, service has been available on a 15-minute rotating basis between the South (Domestic) Terminal, North (International) Terminal and on-airport parking areas. Since the Connector hallway between the North and South Terminals was completed, airport shuttle bus passenger use of the North Terminal stop has declined. Beginning July 1, 2012, the North Terminal stop will be available on an on-demand basis. Airport shuttle bus service at the airport is provided by Republic Parking System, a member of the Customer Service Partnership. |
