Dear DBE/ACDBE firms, Subcontractors, Partners and Stakeholders,

As we begin Quarter 1 of 2026 and reflect on the close of the 2025 federal fiscal year, we want to share our gratitude with all DBE/ACDBE firms, subcontractors, and partners whose contributions keep this program moving forward. While new challenges may come, our office remains committed to the principles that guide us—promoting opportunity, fairness, and accessibility throughout Alaska’s transportation system. We are excited to continue this important work with you in the year ahead and deeply value your ongoing partnership and dedication.

Our Mission is to "Keep Alaska Moving."

Our Vision is to ensure transportation services are provided in a non-discriminatory manner, where all communities and individuals have equal access to opportunities in Alaska's transportation system.

GovDelivery Update on 50% DBE Reimbursement Program

As of this week, the 50% DBE Reimbursement Program is shut down. The FHWA funding that supports this program is currently not available to states, and at this time there is no indication of whether these funds will be restored in the future.

If funding does become available, our office will promptly revive the program and notify firms as soon as possible.
