US Fish & Wildlife Service Building Conference Room 4 Bear Road King Salmon, AK.
The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) Southcoast Region is proposing to rehabilitate the pavement for various Aprons and Taxiways at the King Salmon Airport. The project will also replace the lighting system at the airport, including the lighted wind cone and lighted signs. The project is kicking off and is in the early part of the design phase. DOT&PF has informed Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Alaskan Region of their intent to apply for federal funding assistance for the proposed project. DOT&PF is seeking input from airport users and the public. DOT&PF and Jacobs Engineering Group will be hosting a public open house. Give them space. Never cut off trucks or buses since they take longer to stop.
