Gov Delivery Switch

We are now using GovDelivery to send out email alerts to both internal and external audiences. Please be sure to save dotpf.announcement@service.govdelivery.com to your address book so you will not miss any of our communications. We are still learning the ropes with this new system, but we are finding there are opportunities to utilize GovDelivery in ways we could not with our old program, Constant Contact. Phishing

The Civil Rights Office has received many phone calls concerning the phishing email that you received last week concerning the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Annual “No Change” Declaration from a sender portraying to be from our office.

"Phishing" is the most common type of cyber-attack that affects organizations. Phishing attacks can take many forms, but they all share a common goal to fraudulently get individuals and business owners to share sensitive information such as tax returns, login credentials, credit card information, or bank account details

Based on the phone calls received, it sounded like this imposter had previously sent you a similar email to try to trick you to send them your contact information and tax returns.   Please see the copy of the email referenced below.

All emails concerning DBE Certification will come directly from the Civil Rights Office staff. When in doubt, please contact the Civil Rights Office staff before clicking on the link or download the attachments.

Please be vigilant to protect your sensitive information.   When in doubt contact our office, the employee directory is listed on our website at https://www.dotcivilrights.alaska.gov/
